Trail Description

Top of the World ATV trail offers a spectacular view on top of some really high (and dangerous if your not careful) cliffs that on a clear day you can see Arches National Park, Colorado, Castle Valley, La Sal Mountians, and many other places. To get their from Moab, take Highway 191 to Highway 128 just before you cross the Colorado River. Follow highway 128 along the Colorado River until you reach Dewey Bridge. Turn right before you cross the bridge on Entrada Bluffs road (also known as the Kokopelli Trail). Follow the dirt road south for about five miles until you reach the Top of the World sign.

The beginning of the trail is along a well groomed dirt road and is easy. Eventually you will reach a fork in the road with a sign pointing right for Top of the World. The trail begins to head out toward the cliffs and views. There are few rocky climbs with ledges, but nothing extremely difficult. As you get closer to the Top of the World lookout, the trail breaks into a few different routes. Stay on the main trail and you'll make it to the cliffs and can return on the part of the loop you missed. This is a fun ride and a must see view for every Moab lover.
