Trail Description

Moab's Porcupine Rim trail is a fun ride with great views. To get there, drive up Sand Flats road, pay the fee at the ranger station, and follow Sand Flats road for about seven miles. The range will be able to help with directions and should give you a map. There are some difficult obstacles but in group they can be conquered. The views at the end of this ride are stunning as you end up on the top of a cliff overlooking Castle Valley. The picture shown on the trail description is where the Porcupine Rim trail is joined by the trail leading from Finns & Things. It's helpful to have a good map on this trail as there are parts that branch off and parts that mingle with Fins and Things.
