From Roosevelt, take highway 87 north to Mountain Home then take FR 119 north to Yellowstone - the parking lot is near the Yellowstone Guard Station - Where FR 119 joins FR 196 head west on FR 196 At Mill Park turn right onto FR 227 to get back to the trail head.
