Trail Description

The Onion Creek ATV trail is rated as one of the top Moab ATV trails for families to ride on. The trail follows a well maintained road along onion creek and sometimes through onion creek numerous times. The road is easy to follow and takes riders through gorgeous redrock canyons.

To get there, take highway 128 just north of Moab and follow the road until until you reach Onion Creek road about 20 miles after turning on to highway 128.

The trail is about 10 miles until you reach a private property dead end, but you can take the Thompson Canyon trail or the Rose Garden trail as you reach the end of Onion Creek. Keep in mind that both Thompson Canyon and Rose Garden are more difficult trails. Onion Creek can get dangerous with rain or snow so be careful to watch the weather.

While you're in the area, it's fun to also spend some time going over to Fisher Towers.

Please review our Terms and Conditions before riding this trail and always remember to Tread Lightly.
