Bryce Canyon Area ATV Trails

Garfield County gets a big thumbs up for being friends of ATV riders. The County has published two FREE informational maps that separate the the county roads and trails into two sections, the Henry Mountains, and the Paunsaugunt. These maps identify trails like Casto Canyon that are not accessible by vehicles wider than 50 inches so you UTV folks don’t get surprised. The area where the maps fall short is in describing the technical nature of the trails and the skill level needed to ride them.

You can pick up these free maps at the Forest Service Visitor Center in Red Canyon between Panguitch and Bryce Canyon.

You can also pick up a bunch of complimentary day use type maps at Ruby’s inn and the accompanying Chevron gas station across the street. For the trails listed on these maps you can’t beat them for simple straight forward maps that give you road numbers for each section of the trail

On our recent family vacation to Bryce Canyon, we took the four wheelers and our hiking shoes and got our fill of riding and hiking.

We rode three different trails, the Pine Lake Trail, including a great trail out to the edge of Powell Point, the Casto Canyon Trail, and Coyote Hollow Loop. All three of these trails are easy trails that could be ridden by beginner level riders.

We stayed at the Bryce Canyon Inn and ate some fabulous Pizza at The Pizza Place next door. Both get an A+ rating. They also offer horse or mule rides up an amazing slot canyon. Part of our group went on the ride and they said it was amazing. Check out their site
Bryce Canyon Inn.

If you stay at the Inn, or eat at The Pizza Place let them know that their friends from ATV Trail Reviews sent you.
