Great Moab ATV Trails for FAMILIES

Okay, so we already created our top 10 list of Moab ATV trails and have gotten some good feedback. When we created the list we were very aware that many of the trails were difficult and a couple even rated as the most difficult in the Moab area. Because that list isn't exactly a list for the families, we thought we'd take some time to list some great atv trails in Moab that aren't as advanced.

Moab is packed with really fun atv trails for families. There are thousands of miles of trails that are groomed dirt roads with incredible views and some fun riding through rivers and less difficult obstacles. Moab is the perfect vacation for all family members and the kids love riding atv's in the area. The following are just a few of the great Moab atv trails for families. Keep in mind that some of these trails, while the trail riding is relatively easy, go up hillsides and areas that may contain steep drop offs and require extreme caution.

Moab has many off road trails that don't carry a formal name that are equally as fun. It's really a matter of picking an area to ride for the day and exploring different trails and sections. The Moab Visitors Center also offers some great books and maps on places to take the family out for a ride. You can also call any local ATV or Jeep shop and get some local help.
