Trail Description
Georgia Pass connects the towns of Breckenridge and Jefferson. It is a fairly easy ride up the Jefferson side from the trailhead. At the top of Georgia Pass you have several choices; ride down to Breckenridge, ride over to Mount Guyot, or ride up to Glacier Ridge.
The view from Georgia Pass is pretty nice but the views from Mount Guyot or Glacier Ridge are spectacular. These are both fun rides, a little challenging but nothing too difficult and the views are well worth it.
After the exploring Mount Guyot and Glacier Ridge return to Georgia Pass and take the trail towards Breckenridge. This trail is known as Parkville Road and is a little more challenging but again nothing too difficult. There are several side trails on this side of the pass and some great opportunities for ATV camping.
Parkville Road ends after about 4 miles at CR 6. Left on CR 6 takes you down to Breckenridge. Turn Right on CR 6 to continue the loop back up to Georgia Pass. Stay on CR 6 for about 3.4 miles and you will turn right to SOB Hill. SOB Hill is a 150 yard long uphill rock garden and is the most challenging part of this ride.
After conquering SOB Hill, your on the Glacier Ridge trail and it's about another 4.5 miles back up to Georgia Pass. This loop is a great day ride and a great area for ATV camping as you can ride trails for miles to the north and intersect other riding areas.
