The Casto Canyon trail is about 20 miles and connects with the Fremont ATV Trail. It wanders through beautiful red rock formations and red canyons along dry washes and sandstone. There are actually two ways to access the Casto Canyon ATV trail (both off of SR-12 east of Panguitch). The first trail head is on the north side of SR-12 and is a dirt road that you follow until you hit the trail head. The other is further east on SR-12 towards Red Canyon. Just before the first red rocks you will see the sign for Losee and Casto Canyons on the north side of the road. Follow the dirt road past Losee Canyon until you see the Casto Canyon sign. This is a fun ride on ATV width trails that can get really challenging if there's been any rain. This is truly one of Utah's most scenic ATV trails with the redrock formations.

This trail has width restrictions so wider UTV's will not fit through the access gate.
