Trail Description

Just south of S.R. 24 and west of Teasdale Utah, the Boulder Mountain ATV trail system (also known as the Great Western ATV trail) has many roads and routes that are excellent for ATV's and OHV's. In addition, north of Boulder Mountain and over the back of Thousand Lake Mountain is a rugged and scenic 25-mile ride to Cathedral Valley in Capitol Reef National Park.

To get there, take 125 S Street in Teasdale west for about a mile to the trail parking lot. This is a great Utah ATV trail to get out and explore and take different routes. The trails quickly gain elevations and get up to over 11000 feet, so snow can be a concern at certain times of the year. Boulder Mountains offers some incredible views of Capital Reef, high mountain lakes, and red rock cliffs.
