Trailhead Location:
Highway 191 - 24 miles North of Vernal - you will find the signed trailhead and parking lot on the right hand side of the road if you are traveling from Vernal where forest road 217 crosses the highway. The trial heads north from the parking lot on a double track trail for about 1.5 miles and then the trail gets steeper. Another 1 mile will put you on top of Grizzly Ridge with some great views. You can turn around and go back or complete the loop, however the remaining portion of the loop involves some steep grades which will need to be handled with caution.

Trail Description
