Great Moab ATV Trails for FAMILIES Submitted by admin on Thu, 02/26/2009 - 22:07

Okay, so we already created our top 10 list of Moab ATV trails and have gotten some good feedback. When we created the list we were very aware that many of the trails were difficult and a couple even rated as the most difficult in the Moab area. Because that list isn't exactly a list for the families, we thought we'd take some time to list some great atv trails in Moab that aren't as advanced.

Atv Tires: Simple buying tips. Submitted by admin on Sat, 02/21/2009 - 14:41

There are hundreds of options for ATV tires. We want to preface this blog, as always, go with what you like of course but here are some tips that we use when purchasing new tires.

1.Do I need new tires? If you just want to buy a new set of atv tires then by all means go buy some. However, like most of us you can't just toss over a few hundred dollars, so if you aren't sure keep reading. Like car tires, most atv tires offer a "wear mark". a "wear mark" tells you when the atv tires are ready to be changed. If you can't find the mark or one isn't offered then go with your gut on this one, but we would not suggest letting the atv tire become to bare, you never know when you will need that extra traction

Top 10 Moab ATV trails Submitted by admin on Tue, 02/17/2009 - 21:03

This post may open up a can of worms, but after years of people asking the same question over and over again, we thought we’d attempt to give an answer. The question we get asked on a regular basis is, “We’re headed down to ride some Moab ATV trails for the weekend and wondered what trails you’d recommend”.

This is a really tough question to answer.

First, it’s hard to pick our favorite ATV trails in Moab because there’s so many.

Second, the terrain in Moab varies a lot from trail to trail with some trails being crazy difficult and making grown men scream, to others trails that we’d feel comfortable allowing our kids to ride on.

Third, it really depends on what you’re looking for…scenery, obstacles, sand, slickrock, boulders, etc.

News Release: We ARE the environmentalists! Submitted by admin on Sat, 02/07/2009 - 21:41

I'm not sure how many of you saw in the Salt Lake Tribune today the article about the off-road group that hit the Utah capitol hill yesterday to demonstrate their support of keeping motorized access in public lands, but there was a great picture of a guy holding a sign that read:

"News Release: We ARE the environmentalists!"

First of all, we're sorry we missed the rally. We need more people out fighting to keep these public lands open to motorized vehicles. One of the reasons why we started this site was to become more involved in keeping Utah ATV trails open to the public. We want to thank all the ATV riders that attended the rally in our behalf and look forward to joining the fight in the future.

Beginners ATV guide Part I Submitted by admin on Sun, 02/01/2009 - 23:39

Our site provides trail information for all types of off-highway vehicles (OHV) we have a tendency to lean toward the smaller four wheeled versions a.k.a. Four Wheelers, 4Wheelers, Utility quad, etc....
We are often asked which ATV we recommend, however ATR (AtvTrailReviews) is not going to recommend any particular ATV even if we did the honest response would still be "the one that you feel comfortable with". Yeah, we know that’s to easy. So here are some pointers for those that want some more info on how to choose an ATV.
