What a ride!! Part 1

The occasion to go on a 3 day ride very few and far between so this post is proof that it does, can and did happen. My buddy Lance from Western Moto and ATV approached me about an area that he had heard of in Nevada. I of course interested in any ride during the weekend before Thanksgiving I couldn't refuse. The exact destinations of choice this year; Warner Valley in Utah, and Logandale, Nevada.... I know that is what I said; "Where the H3!! is that". It is located just off of I-15 (Check out the Logandale Trail for more information) for more info. I must say that the atv trails that are offered in this area are well maintained, and they know who they cater to... Motor-sport riding. There are great load/unloading areas, a mix of technical trails and wash trails, they have red sand and red rock, slick rock and not to far away you can catch a bite to eat without having to load up all of your equipment.

We started our first day following a wash that was like a roller coaster, in and out up and down, soft sand, rocks, one-off trails. To my surprise there were quite a few different wash areas that you could visit.

The second day we left Warner Valley (Hurricane, UT) and enjoyed more wash areas, some desert, and the small sand dune area just south of where we unloaded. That afternoon we decided to see how vast the area was so we headed west of the dunes and found a nice access rode that took us all the way around to the other side of the riding area (around 50 miles total).

The third day found us back at Warner Valley (Hurricane, UT). There we went the opposite direction as the first day and found our selves in some pretty cool areas of history. The Pearson Trail, Fort Pearson, or what's left of it. and some dinosaur tracks, or so the trail said.

Our trip was yet another great success. Be looking for the pics of Warner Valley coming soon. Keep riding.
